I graduated at the top of my class at SCAD UX, and I've worked on design projects with companies like Google and HP. I'm currently working at my current job at ?What If! to hone my strategic thinking skills so I can be more of a decision-maker.
Design is the thing that brings me most joy in life. Collaboration is another. I bring overwhelmingly positive energy to any team I'm on, and the feedback from teams I've worked on tell me it's a key contributor for success. In other words, I'm really zeally.
Growth is a lifelong commitment and Tesla is a fantastic next step for mine. There are so many unique challenges you have to solve when you design for autonomous vehicles, and they're all things I'd be excited to both contribute to and learn from.
I'm fortunate enough to have played around with my dad's Tesla, and the UI is fantastic. I have such an appreciation for how little you need to see in order to use it, something that's important when you also need to be alert. I love the subtle shadows and rounded corners of the visual design — it feels like home.
I want to make a lasting impact on the accessibility of technology in the world. Tesla checks that box. I want to move to Silicon Valley and be around the best and the brightest there. Tesla checks that box. I'm a sucker for nerdy tech and next-level products that change the course of history. Tesla checks that box. Double-checks it, even.
I've learned so much in my time here at ?What If!, but I think it's time for me to move onto my real passion: Product and Interaction Design. I think I've had about enough of telling other companies what they should be doing and then watching them not do it. It's time to work in-house and be part of the team that brings the solution to life.
